Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer virtual therapy in Georgia?

Yes. I provide virtual therapy to adults located throughout Georgia. Sessions take place online, allowing you to participate from a private and comfortable location.

What do you help with?

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, substance use concerns, relationship difficulties, codependency, life transitions, and pregnancy and postpartum concerns.

Do you offer EMDR therapy?

Yes. I provide EMDR therapy virtually to adults in Georgia. We'll first determine whether EMDR is appropriate for your needs and goals before beginning the processing phases of treatment. I am trained in EMDR by the Trauma Therapist Institute.

Do you provide substance use therapy?

Yes. Substance use and addiction are areas of clinical experience for me. I work with adults who are questioning their relationship with substances, working toward recovery, or dealing with the impact of substance use on their lives and relationships.

Do you provide pregnancy and postpartum therapy?

Yes. I provide virtual support for adults navigating pregnancy, the postpartum period, and the transition to parenthood. This may include support for anxiety, depression, stress, difficult birth experiences, relationship changes, and adjustment to parenthood.

What can I expect from the first session?

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss what brought you to therapy, and identify what you'd like to work on. We'll begin developing a treatment approach based on your individual needs and goals.

How often will we meet?

The frequency of sessions depends on your needs, goals, and circumstances. We'll discuss what makes sense for you during the beginning of therapy and adjust as needed.

How do I know if we're a good fit?

Finding a therapist you feel comfortable with is important. I offer a free introductory call so you can ask questions, tell me a little about what you're looking for, and get a sense of whether my approach feels like a good fit.

Do you accept insurance?

I am currently self-pay only. You can reach out to your insurance company to inquire about out-of-network benefits.

How do I get started?

The first step is to reach out and schedule a free introductory call. From there, we can discuss your goals, answer any questions you have, and determine whether working together makes sense.
